ANTIQUE SILVER TIBETAN DORJE

Description

The dorje is one of the principal ritual objects of Tantric Buddhism. It symbolizes the male aspect of the spirit and is held during invocations and prayers. This dorje measures 4" long by 1.75" at the widest parts. It is composed of sterling silver with blue lapis and red coral stones. One small stone is missing. It weighs 1.34 oz. It retains it's original aged patina. It has not been cleaned.
