    Description

This is a vintage original double weight publicity photograph of
    Beatrice Swanson
, an actress who appeared on Broadway in thirteen plays and musicals 1920-1935. A few of her credits include Artists and Models (1925), Vogues of 1924, The Blushing Bruide (1922), and Floradora (1920). Her marriage to American Tobacco official Anders Ostergran was announced in the NY Times in 1926.
A photograph of her in the studio of painter and illustrator Penrhyn Stanlaws who is painting her portrait can be seen on the internet.
The photograph is signed in the lower left corner by the photographer, not sure who though.
