    Description

    The Tektronix 6045 Probe is a high gain-bandwith low-capacitance (4pf) 1X probe designed for use with oscilloscope systems having either high-impedance inputs or 50-ohm inputs.  The probe itself has a high input impedance achieved by means of a field-effect transistor built into the probe tip, followed by amplifier and DC offset circuits.  Overall bandwidth is from DC to approximately 230 megahertz.  Unit comes in a snap lock box.
    Operation of the P6045 uses the separate power source provided. Correct operating voltages for the P6045 are provided by the Tektronix 015-0073-00 Accessory Power Supply.
