Seeburg Stereo Consolette Jukebox Wallbox MP3 Player Conversion.Unlike most other wallboxes you might find on Ebay, this one actually plays WITHOUT a jukebox attached to it !
The only other listing on Ebay that pulls this together is priced at 00
You can buy the pieces, the wallbox, the controller, the transformer, the MP3 player and try to assemble it yourself, or you can get it here, literally plug and play !
You will get a 1960's era Seeburg Wallbox similar to the one in the video. As you can imagine there will be signs of wear, scratches, etc but these have been re-painted grey/silver with black accents. I also have the original finish (brown ones) available if you want to paint it to your tastes. The coin mechanism is removed to make room for a microprocessor, MP3 player and power transformer. The pilot lights were also replaced with a multi-color LED that changes color in sync with the music, an exclusive feature of mine. Each unit has been cleaned, shopped and tested. The audio output can be jacked into a sound system of your choice but a computer/sub system works great. Optionally an internal amp can be fitted to drive the internal speakers as well. To test it I have loaded 160 hits from the 60's and most people find that perfect for their needs. This is a turn-key solution. Plug it into a wall outlet, plug it in to an audio system of your choice and start enjoying the music.
You have to understand that there are 2 modes of operation. One is just as a jukebox always did, you punch the buttons, it plays that song followed by whatever other songs you might have punched in. It remembers them and plays them in order and then stops when there are no more selections. This mode was based on collecting money.
But I almost never play it that way myself. Money does not matter when you own it, so the second mode is to have it playing random selections, but if you punch in a particular song or songs, when that random song is over it will preferentially play the selected music and when they are gone it goes back to playing randomly. I leave it on the whole day if I am working on something and looking for background music.
Now that you understand that, understand that each wallbox can only select a certain number of songs directly, usually 100 or 160, which corresponded to 50 or 80 45 RPM records with 2 sides to each record that were in a nearby jukebox.
Well, in this implementation there is no jukebox needed, it plays whatever mp3 songs are on an SD card inside. This is important, in random mode it can play 100 or 200 or even more. It can play everything on that card - BUT - the limitations of the buttons allows pre-selecting only 100 or 160 of them.
While most people will find the 160 test selections to their liking, some have changed them and I can provide you with instructions and answer questions, definitely doable, but you have to have some PC savvy and be willing to futz with it -- not turn-key anymore.. The music is on an SD card and the title strips can be created from a free online program and printed on your printer. I have recently put together an 80's mix for a customer and can provide that if it is more to your liking. It still has some earlier R&R favorites.
Optionally, if you want me to include a label for the wall box, let me know. There is a black bar at the bottom of the glass window where operators could customize a message. Often the name of the location. See the last picture of some that have been removed. Famously the Doobie Brothers customized it for one of their album covers. I will leave it blank unless you want "Listen to the Music" or some other custom entry that i will print for you.
This will instantly become the focus of your man cave or she shed. When we can no longer go out to party, bring the party home.

Condition is Used-Modified. While I often get these packed and shipped in 2 days, custom requests will add to that time. Shipping companies in general have been slow owing to the special handling requested, so please expect delays. Local pickup is always a good option.
I have recently been convinced to add an internal amplifier and retain the original speakers and while I was skeptical what the sound quality would be, I am blown away. It sounds great, now retains the Low-Med-High Volume control buttons and adds additional authenticity. I also left the external jack so that if you are having a party in a large room, you can add the external amp, but the 2 people that have tried this already say they have no reason to use that amp anymore. I will include this upgrade at your request if you choose "buy it now", no other offer will be accepted.
Also, because of multiple requests, I will offer this same wallbox with external electronics instead of with the internal conversion. The coin system will be retained, and the lighting will also be original. There will be an easy modification for freeplay if at any time you want to give up the coin feature. The price will be the same, just specify this when you buy and remember that there will be no flashing lights like in the video, but the original incandescent lighting. This also makes it much easier to take the cover on and off to remove coins or to change the music
