Once upon a time it seems like every local restaurant, tavern and diner was equipped with a colorful jukebox that provided the sounds of the time.
Collecting vintage jukeboxes has become a favorite pastime of nostalgia buffs but these expensive devices are large and difficult to maintain.
If you're a person who wants to listen to your favorite tunes on a much smaller vintage device using a combination of analog and digital technology, here's the solution!

a vintage, standalone jukebox wallbox that plays modern MP3 music?
This Seeburg Stereo Consolette was originally designed to remotely control a jukebox from your seat or table in a restaurant or bar.
It has been retrofitted with a commercially made Wallbox2MP3 emulator unit that's controlled by the original electro-mechanical pushbutton mechanism of the wallbox.
The Stereo Consolette has its own internal speakers that provide remarkable sound quality.
The songs are stored on a standard SDHC memory card and song labels are easily created using the included Wallbox2MP3 software.
Just rip and organize your favorite tunes, print the labels from your computer, install, and you're all set to go.
To get you started I've included and installed 160 of my favorite songs.  Please be aware that there is no coin collection mechanism in the unit, it is set for free play and that it can be easily configured to play random selections.
If you're looking for a much larger sound, this wallbox also has a line out cable which will allow you to connect the unit to your own stereo system.
If you'd rather not deal with plugging in a cable, it's simple and inexpensive to connect the line out cable to a Bluetooth transmitter and pair it to your favorite compatible speakers.
Sorry, the Bluetooth transmitter is not included.
